Such an alarming lack of knitting

Or so it would seem-- I've actually been knitting furiously on the sweater made o' Koigu for Kerrie Allman's book, which I really shouldn't show you. The girls at Tuesday 'Bou know, though-- I'm on the second sleeve (front and back are done to the underarms) and it's only been 3 weeks, minus lots of hours spent at work. I didn't think I could work the Koigu that quickly.

In other news, I'm looking forward to Knit Michigan next Saturday. I just found out that I'm in the dyeing patterned sock yarn class- it was my 2nd choice, so not bad. I'll come home with yarn for (yet another) pair of socks-- no complaints there! I've never done any dyeing except for the time my students and I dyed yarn with Kool-Aid "sun tea style", and that doesn't count.

This is my first time visiting your Blog and I am entranced by that baby. Is that your little person? How lucky you are if it is.
